X-am 3500 – Multi-Gas Monitor with Pump for 1-4 Gases
1 458,00 €
A gas analyzer with a built-in pump, featuring the latest generation of “cloud” gas detectors from Drager Safety AG. Operates in two modes: diffusion or forced ventilation with a built-in pump. Monitors the concentrations of 1–4 different gases simultaneously. Designed for personal safety when working in hazardous environments, as well as for preliminary monitoring in confined spaces such as shafts, storage tanks, and others. Comes with an extended 3-year warranty on the analyzer housing.
It can be configured with a catalytic sensor for explosive gases (CatEx SR) and up to 3 of the following electrochemical sensors: O₂, CO, H₂S, SO₂, and NO₂.
The standard package includes a gas detector, a pump with an adapter, and an inductive charger for 220V.
The price listed is for a configuration with a catalytic sensor and an oxygen sensor. Request a quote for other configurations by contacting us in the way that is most convenient for you.
Part of Dräger Safet AG’s latest generation of “cloud-based” multi-gas analyzers, the X-am 3500 is the entry-level gas detector with a built-in pump.
It is ideal for monitoring and analyzing 1–4 gases, including in confined spaces with restricted access (CSE). Suitable for use as a personal gas detector for hazardous gases, as well as for preliminary monitoring in enclosed spaces, tanks, and shafts.
Advantages of the Dräger X-am 3500:
-
Specially designed with a built-in pump
The Dräger X-am 3500 is equipped with a very powerful built-in pump that can be connected to hoses of various lengths, including up to 45 meters. The pump operates only when you actually need it, as the device can also operate in diffuse measurement mode. This saves energy, increases the monitor’s battery life, reduces wear and tear, and extends the pump’s service life.
The Dräger X-am 3500 is convenient and intuitive to operate with one hand using three function keys. The easy-to-read color display clearly shows all the information that’s important to you. Thanks to its robust construction and high level of durability, the device operates reliably even in the harshest conditions.
-
Clear Alarms for Maximum Safety
The Dräger X-am 3500 signaling system complies with the requirements of EN 60079-29-1, EN 45544-1, and EN 50104:
- Green light – the device is ready for use
- Yellow light – an alarm related to the device, such as low battery
- Red light – a gas alarm
The green light on the D-light allows you to see from a distance whether the device is functioning properly.
In the event of an alarm, the X-am 3500 alerts you with colored alarm LEDs, a loud siren (100 dB(A) at a distance of 30 cm), and a clearly perceptible vibration. The display can show four preset hazard symbols that explicitly indicate, for example, the presence of explosive or toxic gases. This allows the user to easily identify the type of hazard based solely on the displayed symbol.
-
Convenient Equipment Management
Optimize operating costs and time with the Dräger X-dock automatic test station, which features low gas consumption. Its low consumption of test gases keeps operating costs to a minimum. The reporting function and the many other useful features of the X-Dock Manager are a smart addition to device management activities. To identify the gas monitors, you can use barcodes or the RFID transponder integrated into the analyzers.
Dräger provides an extended 3-year warranty on the main unit.
-
Inductive Charging
The X-am 3500 can be charged inductively. This simplifies operation and extends the service life of the gas analyzer. It also protects the contacts in the charging station from corrosion. You can wirelessly charge your gas monitor (outside of explosion-hazard zones) while simultaneously measuring gas concentrations, e.g., when used inside vehicles or other machinery. The charging stands can be connected to each other, taking up minimal space, and are compatible with existing charging stations for devices in the Dräger X-am series.
-
Versatile configuration options
Thanks to its state-of-the-art electrochemical sensors, the Dräger X-am 3500 can be configured to simultaneously monitor the concentrations of 4 gases: Explosive, flammable, and hazardous gases and volatile vapors (Ex); Oxygen (O₂); Carbon monoxide (CO); Hydrogen sulfide (H₂S); Nitrogen dioxide (NO₂) and sulfur dioxide (SO₂). The sensors can be easily replaced, calibrated, or recalibrated to meet the various needs of users.
-
Suitable for use in explosive atmospheres
The Dräger X-am 3500 is certified for use in atmospheres that are continuously explosive (ATEX Zone 0).
