PAC6000 SO2 – Maintenance-Free Sulfur Dioxide Gas Detector
450,00 €
Portable gas detector, analyzer, and monitor designed to ensure safety when working in areas where there is a risk of hazardous concentrations of sulfur dioxide. When a hazard to human health is detected, a powerful alarm (visual, vibrating, and audible) is immediately activated.
Delivery time: 3–20 days
PAC6000 SO2 is an affordable gas analyzer for detecting sulfur dioxide. The sensor’s fast response time and powerful battery ensure safety and security. It differs from the PAC6500 gas analyzer in that it has a shorter operational lifespan—limited to the battery’s life or two years (when operated 24/7). The PAC6000 features exceptionally rugged construction, a fast sensor response time, and a powerful built-in, non-replaceable battery, ensuring safety for you and your workers throughout this entire period.
Advantages
High reliability
The PAC6000 SO2 gas analyzeraccurately and reliably alerts you to hazardous concentrations of sulfur dioxide. Dräger sensors ensure rapid response times. The Dräger PAC6000 gas analyzer has a very wide measurement range for sulfur dioxide (SO2) in concentrations from 0 ppm to 100 ppm.
Easy to use
The special D-Light indicator light shows whether the gas analyzer has been tested and is ready for use. The housing is designed with safety in mind: every model of the PAC6000 features clear, highly visible color-coding for the gas. You can quickly and easily identify the sulfur dioxide gas analyzer by its color, thereby reducing the likelihood of accidental errors.
Reliable performance even under harsh conditions
It can easily handle even extreme conditions: depending on the sensor, it can withstand temperatures ranging from -40°C to +55°C and air pressures between 700 and 1300 mbar.
Clear display showing all essential information
The display is wordless and clearly shows the respective gas concentration. Other important information is also displayed, such as remaining operating time and battery capacity. The bright backlight ensures that all values are clearly readable in the dark.
360° alarm: LED, sound, and vibration
If the PAC6000 detects hazardous gas concentrations, an audible, visual, and distinct vibration alarm is triggered. Two bright flashing LEDs at the top and bottom of the device ensure that the alarm is easily visible from all sides. The audible alarm reaches a sound level of 90 dB. The display can show the maximum concentration measured at any given moment.
PAC6000 for sulfur dioxide has two factory-set alarms:
- at a measured concentration of 0.5 ppm
- at a measured concentration of 1.0 ppm
Event Logger for Analysis and Reporting
All PAC6000 gas analyzers log measured concentrations and events with date and time. The data can be downloaded to a computer via an IR interface for further analysis.
No operating costs
The PAC6000 gas analyzer is equipped with an extremely durable DrägerSensors® sensor and a powerful battery. Neither the sensor nor the battery needs to be replaced during the gas analyzer’s entire two-year service life. The service life of the PAC6000 begins when it is activated for the first time.
Rugged Design
All PAC6000 models are protected against water, dust, and other foreign particles by a special membrane filter. The membrane filter protects the sensor from foreign objects, dust, and liquids. The chemically and impact-resistant housing meets the requirements specified in the IP68 standard. When the filter becomes heavily contaminated, you can quickly and easily replace it yourself. The device is ready for use again in no time.
Functional Test
The PAC6000 offers a quick functional test that saves time and money. Functional tests and calibrations can be performed particularly efficiently using the Dräger X-dock calibration station. The automatic fitness tests in the X-dock are an efficient and convenient solution, thanks to their short duration and extremely low consumption of test gas. The PAC6000 simply plugs into the test station and automatically selects the correct settings.
