PAC6500 CO – Carbon Monoxide Gas Analyzer

PAC6500 CO is a portable gas analyzer for detecting carbon monoxide. The sensor’s fast response time and powerful battery ensure safety and security. It differs from the maintenance-free PAC6000 gas analyzer in that it is serviceable: the battery and sensor can be replaced once their service life has expired (2 years for the battery, 4 years for the sensor), allowing this gas analyzer to serve you for many more years.

The Dräger PAC6500 gas analyzer has a very wide measurement range for carbon monoxide (CO): from 1 to 1,999 ppm;

• High Safety

  It warns of dangerous carbon monoxide concentrations with two alarm levels. Reliable sensors and their fast response time ensure that the alarm is triggered in a timely manner.

• Easy to Use

  The special D-Light indicator light shows whether the device has been tested and is ready for use. The housing is designed with your safety in mind: every sensor variant of the PAC6500 features clearly visible color-coding, thereby reducing the likelihood of errors;

• Arobust and intelligently designed housing

  remains reliable even under harsh outdoor conditions: temperatures ranging from -40°C to +55°C and atmospheric pressure from 700 to 1300 mbar. The diaphragm filter protects the sensor from foreign objects, dust, and liquids. The chemically and impact-resistant housing meets the requirements specified in the IP68 standard;

• Clear display showing all essential information

  The large display is wordless and clearly shows the current gas concentration. Other important information, such as battery level, is also displayed. The bright backlight ensures that all values are clearly legible in the dark;

• 360° alarm: LED, sound, and vibration

  When hazardous concentrations are reached, an audible, visual, and strong vibrating alarm is triggered. Two bright flashing LEDs at the top and bottom of the device ensure that the alarm is visible from all sides. The audible signal reaches a sound level of 90 dB. The display can show the maximum concentration measured at any given moment;

• Built-in data memory and event logger for analysis and reporting

  records the gas concentrations measured every minute in memory. It also has a memory for recorded events: alarm activations, functional tests, and calibrations, along with the date and time. Data can be downloaded to a computer via an optional IR interface for review and analysis;

• Low operating costs

  Equipped with an extremely durable sensor and a powerful battery, it ensures continuous operation for two years without shutting down.  When the protective membrane filter for water and dust becomes heavily contaminated, you can quickly and easily replace it yourself. The device is ready for use again immediately afterward;

• Quick “BUMP TEST” functional test—saves time and resources

  Functional bump tests and calibrations can be performed efficiently in the Dräger X-dock calibration station. The automatic fitness-for-service tests for gas analyzers in the X-dock are a cost-effective and convenient solution for industrial users who prioritize safety and optimal costs. They feature short test durations and low gas consumption. The gas analyzer is placed in the X-dock test station, which automatically selects the correct settings for the specific analyzer.
