The water-resistant Dräger X-AM 2500 is designed for use in harsh industrial environments. It features an IP 67 rating for water and dust resistance, is protected by a rubber housing, and is equipped with shock-resistant sensors. All of this provides additional protection against impacts and vibrations. The device is also resistant to electromagnetic interference and operates reliably under very adverse conditions.

For improved safety when encountering unknown and potentially explosive hazards – The Dräger X-am 2500 provides reliable warnings thanks to the high sensitivity of the new catalytic sensor (Cat Ex) for explosive gases and vapors. Not only does it respond quickly to explosive gases and flammable organic vapors, but it is also highly resistant to sensor “poisoning” by silicone and hydrogen sulfide. Combined with its long-term stability, this offers an exceptionally long expected sensor life of more than 4 years. This reduces your operating costs.

• Versatile configuration options

Thanks to its state-of-the-art electrochemical sensors, the Dräger X-am 2500 can be configured to simultaneously monitor the concentrations of up to 4 gases: explosive, flammable, and hazardous gases and volatile vapors (Ex); Oxygen (O₂); Carbon monoxide (CO); Hydrogen sulfide (H₂S); Nitrogen dioxide (NO₂) and sulfur dioxide (SO₂). The sensors can be easily replaced, calibrated, or reconfigured to meet the diverse needs of users.

• Flexibility in Use

With their compact size, ergonomic design, and lightweight construction, the Dräger X-AM series multigase analyzers are the perfect solution for use as a personal gas detector. Easy to operate with just two buttons, the analyzer offers convenient and intuitive use. Gas measurement is diffusive, with sensor openings on the top and front, making it nearly impossible to block or cover them accidentally.

With the optional automatic external pump and a 20-meter extension hose, the X-AM 2500 is suitable for measurements in confined spaces, such as tanks or shafts. The pump starts automatically when connected to the device.

• Suitable for use in explosive atmospheres

The Dräger X-am 2500 is certified for use in atmospheres that are continuously explosive (ATEX Zone 0).

• Flexible power options

It can operate on standard alkaline batteries or NiMH rechargeable batteries that can be charged directly in the device. The power supply provides up to 12 hours of continuous operation (up to 250 hours in a configuration without an explosive gas sensor).
