You can count on the PAC 8000 to provide you with reliable and accurate measurements at all times, even under extreme conditions. The reliable sensors and their fast response time ensure that alarms are triggered in a timely manner. In addition to the standard alarms, you can define additional alarm thresholds for Threshold Limit Values (TLVs) and Short-Term Exposure Limits (STELs);

High Safety

The Drager PAC8000 OV-A has a measurement range of 0 to 200 ppm.

Robust Design – Even Under the Harshest Conditions

The PAC 8000 can easily handle even extreme conditions. The sensors can operate at atmospheric pressures between 700 and 1,300 mbar. The membrane filter protects the sensor from foreign particles such as dust and liquids. The chemically and impact-resistant housing meets the requirements specified in the IP68 standard;

User-friendly

The special D-Light light indicator shows whether the device has been tested and is ready for use. The housing is designed with your safety in mind: every version of the Dräger PAC 8000 features clearly visible color coding, thereby reducing the likelihood of errors;

Clear and easy-to-read screen displaying all essential information

The large display is wordless and clearly shows the respective gas concentration. Other important information, such as concentration units and battery level, is also displayed. The bright backlight ensures good visibility of the readings even in the dark;

360° alarm and various functions

If the PAC 8000 detects hazardous gas concentrations, an audible, visual, and strong vibrating alarm is triggered. Two bright flashing LEDs at the top and bottom of the device ensure that the alarm is visible from all sides. The audible signal reaches a sound level of 90 dB. The display can show the maximum concentration measured at any given moment;

Built-in data memory and event log file for analysis and reporting

The PAC 8000 records concentrations and events along with the date and time. Data can be downloaded to a computer via an interface and further processed;

Cost-effective operating costs

All versions of the Dräger PAC are equipped with extremely durable Dräger Sensors® and a powerful battery. PAC 8000 is protected against water, dust, and other foreign particles by a special membrane filter. When the filter becomes heavily soiled, you can quickly and easily replace it yourself. The device is ready for use again in no time;

A quick functional test saves time and money

Functional tests and calibrations can be performed particularly efficiently in the Dräger X-dock® calibration station. The automatic fitness tests in the X-dock are an efficient and convenient solution, thanks to their short duration and extremely low consumption of test gas. The PAC 8000 is simply placed in the test station and automatically selects the correct setting.
