JKD-518-R Maintenance
Gas detectors are factory-calibrated during manufacturing and do not require periodic calibration throughout their lifetime.
Recommended Maintenance:
- Cleaning: Clean the housing to ensure that dirt or dust does not block access to the sensors. Depending on the environment, cleaning should be performed once a month to once a week (for very dusty environments);
- Battery replacement: Check every 3 years. The battery life of a set of lithium batteries is between 7 and 10 years; after that, they can be replaced.
Other than what is mentioned above, the detector requires no other maintenance.
