4-Drug Panel Test. Protection Against Spiked Drinks

For testing beverages for the presence of drugs using a precise chromatographic immunoassay method.

A combined test that detects the following 4 drugs:

• GHB – Gamma-hydroxybutyrate, the most commonly used so-called “rape drug” or drug used to render a person helpless;
• MET—methenfetamine, a powerful stimulant with long-lasting effects and a risk of overdose;
• KET – ketamine, a potent anesthetic used in veterinary medicine for sedation.
• BZO—benzodiazepine, a sedative medication that has a narcotic effect at high doses.

ADVANTAGES OF A COMBINED 4-DRUG TEST FOR BEVERAGES

• The test checks whether a beverage has been spiked with any of the following 4 drugs: GHB, KET, MET, or BZO
• The test independently detects the presence of each of the four drugs;
• To check for possible drug spiking in a drink;
• It increases your awareness and safety.

Directions for Use:

• Allow the test cassette to reach room temperature before opening the package.
• Familiarize yourself with the test cassette’s design. There is a separate window/sector for each drug being tested, marked with an abbreviation at the top.
• Make sure there is no coloration on the test or control lines in any of the sectors:

• Using the pipette included in the kit, take a sample from the beverage being tested and add 3 drops to each sample area (which may be marked with an (S)):

INTERPRETING THE RESULTS

ATTENTION! Results for GHB are interpreted differently from the other 3 drugs!

FOR MET, KET, and BZO

interpret the result after 5 minutes:

• POSITIVE – in the corresponding test lines, only the control line (C) appears. No line appears in the test line (T) —>the drug indicated above the corresponding sector (MET, KET, or BZO) is present

• NEGATIVE – two lines appear in the corresponding sectors, (T) and (C) -> no drug was detected, nregardless of the intensity of the test line, even if it is very faint:

• INVALID—if no control line (C) appears in a given sector, regardless of whether a test line (T) has appeared:

The test is invalid only in the area where no control line appears. Reasons for an invalid test: insufficient sample volume or improper storage of the test. Repeat the test with a new kit.

FOR GHB

interpret the result after 10–15 minutes:

• NEGATIVE—only the control line (C) appears in the GHB sector -> No GHB.

• POSITIVE – two lines appear in the GHB section, (T) and (C) -> GHB is present.

The intensity level of the test line provides an approximate estimate of the GHB concentration:

• INVALID—no control line (C) appears, regardless of whether a test line has appeared:

The test is invalid only in the sector where no control line appears. Reasons for an invalid test: insufficient sample volume or improper storage of the test. Repeat the test with a new kit.
