DrugCheck 3000 – a field drug test equivalent to those used by the police

DrugCheck 3000 is well-established and has been used in Bulgaria since 2015. It is a convenient alternative to DrugTest 5000 ( used by the Traffic Police), allowing for quick and accurate self-testing for the presence of drugs without the need for a device.

DrugCheck 3000 7-panel is a new model featuring improved performance and the ability to detect oxycodone.

DrugCheck 3000 detects 7 groups of drugs:

1. Cannabis (THC, CBN, HHC*) – 15 ng/mL delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol
2. Cocaine(Cocaine, Benzoylecgonine) – 50 ng/mL Cocaine
3. Opiates (Heroin, Morphine, Codeine) – 50 ng/mL Morphine
4. Amphetamine (MDMA, Ecstasy)) – 50 ng/mL D-Amphetamine
5. Methamphetamine (crystal meth) – 50 ng/mL D-Methamphetamine
6. Benzodiazepines (Benzodiazepines) – 30 ng/mL Diazepam
7. Oxycodone (Oxycodone) – 40 ng/mL

Advantages

Drug Test – Easy and Safe Sample Collection

DrugCheck 3000 consists of two components: a hygienic sample collector for collecting a saliva sample and a test cassette for analysis. The test cassette contains the buffer solution and a window with two test strips, which display the control line and the test line.

The drug test itself is performed in three easy steps: collect the saliva sample, shake the test kit, wait for a short incubation period, and start the test.

The colored indicator on the swab disappears as soon as it absorbs enough oral fluid for the test. If the test result is negative, a line will appear next to the corresponding substance class (drug). Once the lines appear in the results window, you can read the results. This means that none of the target substances were detected in the sample. If a line does not appear for any of the substance classes, the result for that substance is positive.

Rapid and Sensitive Drug Testing

With the DrugCheck 3000 test kit, you can test for up to seven substance classes simultaneously: cocaine, opioids, amphetamine, methamphetamine/designer drugs (e.g., ecstasy, MDMA), benzodiazepines (e.g., in medications), oxycodone, and cannabis (THC). Of all the substance classes listed, cannabis is the most commonly used drug and also the most difficult to identify (THC = delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol).

That is why the DrugCheck 3000 has been optimized for the detection of THC and now offers two measurement options: depending on the selected waiting time (before incubation), the test offers a rapid option with a higher detection limit or a sensitive option with a lower detection limit for THC. The entire drug test takes only 3–5 minutes.

The compact, pocket-sized design makes the DrugCheck ­3000 easy to transport. It can be prepared for use quickly and easily and is suitable for flexible applications, such as roadside checks and safety-related workplace testing. What are the differences between DrugTest 5000 and DrugCheck 3000?

Both tests are based on an identical immunoassay method. They use the same antibodies.

They differ in design and in how they are used.

DrugTest 5000 consists of two components:

1. DrugTest 5000 ANALYZER (analyzer, machine)

2. DrugTest 5000 TK8 test cassettes (consumables, tests)

The test cassettes for the DrugTest 5000 cannot be used on their own.

The machine ensures thermostatic conditions during analysis, and results are always interpreted under consistent lighting conditions. This is what accounts for the greater precision of the DrugTest 5000.
