ALCOSCAN AL-1100 breathalyzer for quick tests without a mouthpiece

Alcoscan AL1100 is a screening breathalyzer for the rapid preliminary diagnosis of alcohol intoxication. It is suitable for testing employees at the entrance/exit of a facility quickly and without the use of consumables (mouthpieces). This model was developed for traffic police in South Korea to enable them to conduct rapid and effective mass screenings of drivers on the road without causing traffic jams.

Alcoscan AL1100 is suitable for daily sobriety checks on 5–6 employees, with 3 tests per day: at the start of the shift, after the lunch break, and at the end of the shift.

Alcoscan AL1100 is an easy-to-use breathalyzer operated with just one button. Turn it on and wait for it to be ready for testing. Hold the breathalyzer up to the person’s mouth and ask them to exhale moderately forcefully into the mouthpiece. The measurement is taken automatically when the breathalyzer detects exhalation, and the result is ready in no more than 1 second. After a few seconds, the Alcoscan AL1100 automatically resets and is ready for the next test; all you have to do is hold it up to the next person being tested.

• Yellow light + audible alarm – measured alcohol concentration is between 0.20 and 0.50 per mille;
• Red + continuous audible alarm — measured blood alcohol concentration above 0.50 per mille.
