The check valve prevents backflow through the mouthpiece. It ensures better hygiene, reduces the risk of infection transmission, and better protects the device from bodily fluids entering its interior.

Each mouthpiece is hygienically sealed in individual cellophane packaging. It features a perforation for easy opening of the package.
