It simultaneously monitors the concentrations of 1–4 different gases. Suitable for personal protection, and with an optional pump, it can be used to monitor gases in confined spaces such as shafts, reservoirs, and more. It features a Bluetooth interface that transmits data to a mobile phone and, from there, to the control center (optional). It can be configured with sensors for explosive gases (CH₄), O₂, CO, H₂S, SO₂, and NO₂.

The listed price is for a configuration with CH₄/Ex, O₂, CO, and H₂S sensors, a rechargeable battery, and a delivery time of up to 15 business days. Request a quote for other configurations by contacting us in the way that is most convenient for you.

Description

A new-generation “cloud-connected” gas analyzer. The successor to the proven X-AM 2500, the Dräger X-AM 2800 offers improved impact resistance, an extended warranty, and state-of-the-art technology.

An ideal gas detector for personal protection, also suitable for monitoring and analyzing various explosive and toxic gases.

Advantages of the Dräger X-AM 2800:

  • Cloud-connected

Increased safety and efficiency thanks to cloud connectivity. Transfer your recorded data directly and conveniently via Bluetooth to a smartphone and from there to the Gas Detection Connect software backend. Alternatively, you can transfer the data directly to the cloud via the X-dock. This gives you secure access to your data, and analyzing it is easier than ever—anytime, anywhere, via your web browser.

  • High Level of Moisture and Impact Resistance

The Dräger X-AM 2800 offers IP 68-rated moisture and impact resistance.  The newly developed CatEx SR sensor combines many advantages: readiness for calibration within seconds, extreme impact resistance, and the ability to measure flammable vapors—such as gasoline, diesel, and nonane. It allows for calibration to measure methane, propane, hydrogen, and many other gases. At the same time, the CatEx SR sensor is resistant to poisoning by silicones and other substances. This combination of properties is exceptional. With many years of experience in sensor technology, Dräger develops and manufactures the sensors itself, including powerful and durable electrochemical sensors. The sensors and the device are perfectly matched to each other. As a result, the manufacturer offers a 4-year warranty on the analyzer (shorter for the various sensors and batteries),

  • Convenient Equipment Management

With the Dräger X-am 2800, you can manage your equipment conveniently and efficiently in daily use. Optimize operating costs and time using the X-dock automatic test station with low gas consumption or the purely mechanical bump test station. Additional features include the intelligent software solution, convenient firmware updates via the X-dock, an optional RFID transponder, and individual color coding of the devices. A few, easy-to-replace spare parts—including the power supply—and durable sensors ensure that your gas detectors will operate for many years. Dräger provides an extended manufacturer’s warranty on the main unit. Existing accessories from its predecessor, the X-am 2500, can continue to be used with the X-am 2800.

  • Focus on the Environment

During the development of the X-am 2800, great importance was placed on the device’s environmental footprint. The durable sensors and rechargeable battery (easily replaceable with a single screw) ensure a long service life. Almost all replacement parts can be replaced by users themselves. In addition, existing accessories from the previous series can still be used. Environmental considerations have been incorporated into the technical documentation and packaging. To further protect the environment, Dräger also accepts returns of old devices to ensure they are properly recycled.

  • A wide range of configuration options

Thanks to modern electrochemical sensors, the Dräger X-AM 2800 can be configured to simultaneously monitor the concentrations of 4 gases: explosive, flammable, and hazardous gases and volatile vapors (Ex); Oxygen (O₂); Carbon monoxide (CO); Hydrogen sulfide (H₂S); Nitrogen dioxide (NO₂) and sulfur dioxide (SO₂). The sensors can be easily replaced, calibrated, or reconfigured to meet the diverse needs of users.

  • Flexibility of Use

With their compact size, ergonomic design, and light weight, the Dräger X-AM series multigase analyzers are the perfect solution for use as a personal gas detector. Easy to operate with just two buttons, the analyzer offers convenient and intuitive use. Gas measurement is diffuse, with sensor openings on the top and front, making it nearly impossible to accidentally block or cover them.

With the optional automatic external pump and extension hoses of various lengths, the X-AM 2800 is suitable for measurements in confined spaces, such as tanks or shafts. The pump starts automatically when connected to the device.

  • Suitable for use in explosive atmospheres

The Dräger X-am 2800 is certified for use in atmospheres that are continuously explosive (ATEX Zone 0).

  • Flexible power supply options

It operates with a NiMH rechargeable battery that can be charged directly in the device or via the convenient charging stand (optional). The power supply provides up to 12 hours of continuous operation (up to 100 hours in a configuration without an explosive gas sensor).
