Saver CF is an isolation hood manufactured by the German company Dräger is a rescue device that maintains a constant average pressure.
The hood is quick and easy to put on and provides breathing air by maintaining a constant average pressure. Air is supplied through a diffuser that incorporates an exhalation valve for the rescue mask.
The mask is easy for anyone to put on and ensures a tight seal regardless of face shape, head size, or the presence of a beard or mustache—this is achieved through a sealing ring around the neck.
The ring on the Saver CF Isolating Hood is ozone-resistant, ensuring a tight seal for years.
The mask also protects against residual pressure—when the air supply runs out, an audible warning signal sounds.
When Time Is of the Essence
In emergency situations, conditions around us can deteriorate rapidly. The air can suddenly fill with smoke or toxic fumes, and the only option is to evacuate the area quickly. Saver CF is highly visible and designed to fit even people who wear glasses or have facial hair. When opened, Saver CF activates automatically and begins a continuous supply of breathing air to the hood. Saver®CF provides valuable extra time needed to safely evacuate the area.
Easily visible even under adverse conditions
Saver CF is available in an orange soft bag or a black hard case. It can be wall-mounted at strategic locations in potentially hazardous areas. The cases and bags feature reflective strips and photoluminescent panels for clear visibility even in low light. Saver CF is compact and lightweight and can be carried as a bag around the neck or over the shoulder. Made of highly durable materials, it is washable, fire-resistant, and allows water to drain freely.
Up to 15 minutes of life-saving air
The Dräger Saver CF isolating hood uses a simple, fail-safe pressure-reducing system with excellent flow characteristics, ensuring a continuous supply of air until the cylinder is completely empty. A sharp alarm sounds before the air supply is completely exhausted. The Saver CF can be equipped with cylinders that provide up to 10 or 15 minutes of air. The hood is flame-retardant and features a wide-angle visor for maximum peripheral vision.
New Options for Additional Safety and Durability
The SE version includes a newly developed neck seal that offers unmatched resistance to high temperatures, ozone, and diesel fumes, which are commonly found in places such as engine rooms. This ensures years of reliable and trouble-free use, even under adverse conditions. Standard Saver CF 15 hoods can be retrofitted with the SE option.
Protection with Low-Cost Maintenance
The Dräger Saver CF requires very little service and maintenance. A transparent window on the storage bag/case allows you to check the cylinder pressure without unpacking the device. The Dräger Saver CF insulating hood is always ready when you need it.
Compliance with Standards and Regulations
The Dräger Saver CF Isolation Hood meets the essential health and safety requirements of the EU PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 and has been tested and designed in accordance with EN 1146 (2005), and holds a fire resistance certificate and a DNV GL type approval certificate. It also complies with the SOLAS Chapter II for marine equipment, the Pressure Equipment Directive, and ISO 23269-1:2008. The antistatic versions are also suitable for use in explosive atmospheres (Zone 0).
