Description

The Dingo A–025 breathalyzer from the global South Korean manufacturer Sentech Korea Corp. is an excellent choice for personal use and self-monitoring. It is designed to be used with a mouthpiece, which is included in the standard package.

What are the advantages of the Dingo A–025

  • Reusable – The Dingo A–025 is equipped with a sensitive semiconductor sensor and is designed for repeated use over time;
  • Affordable price—an economical breathalyzer that offers an optimal price-to-functionality ratio;
  • Compact size—the Dingo A–025 is small and lightweight, fits in a glove compartment, bag, or pocket, and is always at hand;
  • Fast analysis speed—a test with the Dingo A–025 takes no more than a minute from the moment the device is turned on until the result appears on the display;
  • Power-saving mode—even if you forget to turn off your Dingo A–025, it automatically shuts off after 20 seconds of inactivity;
  • Affordable consumables—it runs on just 2 standard AA alkaline batteries;
  • Audible indication—depending on the level of alcohol intoxication (up to 0.2‰, from 0.2 to 0.5‰, or over 0.5‰), Dingo A–025 uses different sounds to indicate whether you are fit to drive or should ask a friend for a ride or use a “Drink and Drive” service.

Dingo A–025 is designed exclusively for personal use and is not suitable for mass screenings. The semiconductor-type sensor has a capacity of up to 2–3 tests per day. Under heavy use, and especially with samples containing high alcohol levels, the sensitive sensor may produce inaccurate results; systematic overuse will shorten its service life.

Instructions for Use

The Dingo A–025 is very easy to use and requires no special skills:

  1. Press the button on the front panel and wait until the breathalyzer enters standby mode—about 30 seconds. During this time, you can place the mouthpiece in the opening above the display;
  2. When zeros appear on the screen, take a deep breath and exhale into the mouthpiece with moderate force for 4–5 seconds. The breathalyzer detects the start of the breath and automatically switches to measurement mode;
  3. The sample is taken when you hear a double intermittent beep. After about 2 seconds, the test result appears on the display.

That’s it—the test with the Dingo A–025 takes less than a minute! You can repeat the test after a few minutes to allow the sensor to clear any condensation from the previous breath. The manufacturer recommends using a clean mouthpiece for each test—you can wash and dry the old one. If there is no activity for 20 seconds after a test, the breathalyzer automatically turns off.

To get the most accurate results:

  • Take the test at least 5 minutes after smoking and 20 minutes after drinking alcohol;
  • Do not take a test if there is a strong wind around you or if you are in a room with heavily polluted air;
  • You must periodically (once every 12 months) have your breathalyzer checked and calibrated at a specialized laboratory;
  • Keep the device away from heating appliances and/or sources of strong odors (perfumes, cosmetics);
  • To ensure maximum sensor accuracy, use the breathalyzer at least once every 10–14 days.

Regular calibration of your breathalyzer ensures both the accuracy of measurements in the short term and the analyzer’s continued operation for many years to come. To ensure the accuracy of the sensor during sample collection, as well as the long-term use of the Dingo A–025, the manufacturer recommends periodic calibration at a specialized laboratory. Your Dingo A–025 will need calibration after approximately 200 tests or 12 months after the last calibration—whichever comes first.

You can also order the following for your Dingo A-025:

Mouthpieces

The Dingo A–025 kit includes 3 pieces of mouthpieces. Since the plastic of the mouthpieces wears out and becomes damaged over time, you can order replacement tips. They are available in packs of 3.
