Checking the Accuracy of a Breathalyzer

Free accuracy check for your breathalyzer, regardless of the manufacturer, series, or model of the device.

Description

Free accuracy check for breathalyzers.

To measure alcohol in exhaled breath, breathalyzers rely on a sensitive semiconductor or electrochemical sensor; with both types, sensitivity changes over time and during use. Depending on the type and quality of the sensor, this occurs after a few months, with semiconductor sensors having a shorter period during which their sensitivity is maintained. Operating conditions also play a role; conducting tests with high alcohol content—for example, with residual alcohol in the mouth—significantly reduces their accuracy. Inaccurate test results can mislead you when you need to make important decisions, such as whether to get behind the wheel or whether to allow an intoxicated employee to operate a company vehicle or other critical equipment.

The tests are conducted using specialized equipment. The results are reported by phone.

Transportation costs are the responsibility of the client.
