Alcosim Calibration Bench is a multi-stage calibration system for breathalyzers, manufactured by Alcohol Countramesure Systems Corporation, Canada. The station optimizes airflow and the use of expensive standard alcohol solutions. This eliminates the risk of human error and ensures a consistent and stable simulation of exhaled breath at the concentration required for calibrating breathalyzers that measure alcohol concentration in exhaled breath.

Multi-stage exhalation simulation

With the breathalyzer calibration system Alcosim Calibration Bench , up to three breathalyzers can be calibrated simultaneously, each requiring a different concentration of the reference solution. This simulates various levels of alcohol concentration, meeting different calibration requirements for breathalyzers.

Precise and Accurate Performance

The sample counter monitors the calibration process to ensure that no more than 100 samples are dispensed from a single solution. Connecting two calibrators in series ensures high temperature stability of the supplied solution at 34°C (±0.01°C). The system is equipped with an airflow regulator to control pressure and force as needed. Additional adjustments can also be made according to user requirements.

Adaptability

Any type of breathalyzer can be installed on the adjustable test platform, including screening devices (which measure non-contact, without a mouthpiece) and even evidentiary devices. Each pair of calibrators can be used with a different concentration of the reference solution for simultaneous adjustment of different thresholds.
