Description

The Alcotest 9510 is a breathalyzer with evidentiary weight from Dräger Safety AG. As the successor to the Alcotest 7110 Evidential breathalyzer—and significantly upgraded—this breathalyzer is designed to meet current recommendations and comply with national and international OIML R 126 regulations. With unique sensor technology combining two measurement principles in a single analyzer, an intuitive color touchscreen display, and a modern design, the Alcotest 9510 sets the current standards in the field of legal metrology.

Proven Dual Sensor

Depending on the national requirements of specific countries, the Alcotest 9510 can be equipped with two different types of independent sensors for the precise and legally admissible quantification of alcohol concentration in exhaled breath. Simultaneous measurement using an infrared and an electrochemical sensor ensures reliable results from measurements of the same sample. The infrared sensor has extremely low cross-sensitivity to potential interfering substances in the sample. The measurement is based on a strictly physical method, while the electrochemical sensor is based on a combined physical-chemical method of analysis. By combining these two methods, the German manufacturer achieves the highest possible reliability of results, in accordance with the current requirements of the International Organization of Legal Metrology (OIML).

Intuitive operation via touchscreen display

The high-resolution color touchscreen provides clear and comprehensive text messages, supplemented by audible and visual alerts. This provides clear guidance for performing the testing and maintenance procedures on the breathalyzer itself. Text messages are available in various languages for country-specific versions of the Alcotest 9510. The large touchscreen features a virtual keyboard for data entry. A USB keyboard can be connected to the breathalyzer for even greater convenience and speed when entering the data required to perform the test.

Comfortable Sample Collection

This stationary breathalyzer is equipped with a long, flexible tube that features additional heating. This ensures the thermostatic properties of the collected sample, prevents condensation, and makes the sampling process comfortable for both the person being tested and the breathalyzer operator. Disposable mouthpieces ensure hygienic contact between the person being tested and the breathalyzer.

Reliable Thermal Printer

The breathalyzer’s built-in printer operates quietly and reliably. Results are printed immediately and are easy to read. There is no need for additional consumables such as toner, a drum, or similar items. Printer maintenance is cost-effective, and the thermal print heads are long-lasting, making the printer convenient and user-friendly. An external printer can also be connected to the breathalyzer to print results on standard paper.

Durable design suitable for mobile use

The sturdy outer panels are highly resistant to impacts, scratches, and water splashes, providing this stationary Dräger with the perfect protection for mobile use even under harsh conditions. The breathalyzer can be positioned both vertically and horizontally. The breathalyzer’s handle allows for easy transport. Dräger also offers various accessories for safe transport, such as a carrying case and a bag.

Various Interface Options

The Alcotest 9510 offers a variety of connectivity options: 3 USB ports, 2 RS-232 ports, and an Ethernet port for easy connection to other devices and communication.

Customized Versions

The Alcotest 9510 stationary breathalyzer is designed to comply with international and national regulations and requirements defined in OIML R 126. It can be ordered in a version that complies with local requirements regarding test procedures, data entry, information storage, text messages, language, printing, and communication settings.
