Description

The Dingo B-02 is a stationary portal breathalyzer designed for mass alcohol testing of employees as they enter and exit a facility.

Dingo B-02 – Standalone Breathalyzer for Mass Alcohol Testing

The Dingo B-02 operates completely autonomously, without the need for a staff member responsible for alcohol testing.  The Dingo B-02 automatically controls the opening of a turnstile or the door to a restricted-access work area. It can be easily integrated into existing Access Control Systems (ACS) at the entrance to facilities.

The Dingo B-02 provides accurate testing without the use of mouthpieces

Testing is performed by exhaling from a distance or through a straw. There are no consumable costs, or they are extremely low. The perfect breathalyzer for mass screening of employees.

Rapid testing

With the Dingo B-02, there are no bottlenecks at the factory entrance or exit during mass alcohol testing of workers.  Testing and analysis take less than 2 seconds (for non-alcoholic samples), after which the breathalyzer automatically returns to standby mode for the next test. The Dingo B-02 has a throughput capacity of 8–12 people per minute.

Clear Results

The measurement result is clear and easy to interpret: PASS or FAIL. The decision is entirely objective, made by the breathalyzer, and depends solely on the measured alcohol concentration in the employee’s breath.

The indicator lights are logically arranged and easy to interpret:

  • 1 LED for status (STATUS) and
  • 2 LEDs for the result: green (PASS) and red (FAIL).

Remote Display

The Dingo B-02 portal breathalyzer has a remote display that duplicates its readings in the security room. The additional audible alarm when alcohol is detected ensures that the security guard will be alerted.

Wide tolerance limits

With the Dingo B-02, the tolerance level can be set within a range of 0.1 to 0.9 per mille. This allows employers to set wide tolerance limits for alcohol among their employees.

If the measured result is below the tolerance limit (the green PASS LED lights up), the breathalyzer sends an opening signal to the turnstile (the door’s electric lock) to allow the person being tested to pass through.

If alcohol is detected in the breath above the tolerance level (the red “FAIL” LED lights up), the breathalyzer locks the turnstile/door and prevents the intoxicated employee from passing through. In such cases, the standard procedure is for the employee to undergo an additional test with a professional breathalyzer, after which a decision is made regarding admission or disciplinary action.

Durable Housing

The Dingo B-02’s housing is made of durable, vandal-resistant material.

Integration with Access Control Systems

The relays and connectors that control the electric locks and turnstiles can be used to integrate the Dingo B-02 into the Access Control Systems installed at the entrances of facilities, which use card, fingerprint, or other forms of identification.

Computer-Controlled Operation

The Dingo B-02 can be controlled directly from a computer. It allows test results to be recorded in an employee database and provides additional functionality and a high level of security. When testing is conducted using the specialized software, the face of the employee being tested can be photographed, and the photo can be attached to the result in the employee’s file. There is no possibility of fraud! Test results can also be viewed remotely by authorized personnel.
