Safe Operation

The housing of the automatic lancet device is designed to protect the needle from contact with unclean surfaces, dirt, and pathogens. The operator is also protected from accidental pricks, as the needle is retracted into the device’s housing.

Maximum Hygiene

The device uses lancet needles, a standard type of single-use consumable. These needles have a cap that protects the needle itself from contact with foreign objects. This ensures that there is no risk of transmitting pathogens or infections from one person to another due to the use of the same needle.

Painless blood sampling

The mechanism of the automatic lancing device propels the needle toward the skin using a spring-loaded mechanism and then automatically retracts it. The prick lasts less than a millisecond and is barely noticeable.

Adjusting the Penetration Depth

The automatic lancet device allows you to adjust the penetration depth of the lancet needle by rotating the upper part of the device. This increases comfort and effectiveness for different skin types, whether thinner and more delicate or coarser and thicker.

Easy to Use

The automatic lancing device is suitable for self-use, even without any medical training. Lancet needles are more convenient than standard needles used for manually pricking the skin when collecting samples. Insert the lancet needle into the device, select the puncture depth, press it against the site where you will take the sample, and press the button—that’s it! All that’s left is to collect the sample.

A Cost-Effective Solution

Using an automatic lancet device and its consumables is a convenient and cost-effective solution when frequent blood tests are required, such as for daily blood sugar monitoring in people with diabetes or similar conditions.

The device does not include the disposable lancet needles. These can be purchased at any pharmacy.

If you’ll only be testing a few times, you can choose single-use automatic lancets.

How to Use

For hygiene reasons, the lancets used with this device are for single-use only! To avoid infection with dangerous pathogens, do not use a single lancet more than once, and under no circumstances should you use a single lancet on more than one person!

1. Wash your hands thoroughly with plenty of warm water and soap. You may clean the area where you will take the sample with a suitable disinfectant: a wipe, alcohol swab, or other appropriate product;
2. Rub the finger from which you will take the sample to stimulate blood flow. Usually, either the ring finger or the middle finger is used for this purpose;
3. Open the front cover of the device;
4. Take a clean lancet and remove its cap. Insert the needle, with the sharp end facing up, into the device’s slot and close the device;
5. Adjust the needle penetration depth by turning the top of the already closed device;
6. Pull the trigger at the back of the device to cock the lancet device’s spring mechanism. The button on the side of the device should protrude when you do this;
7. Press the opening of the device against the finger from which you will take the sample, and press the button. You may feel a very slight prick. After the puncture, immediately remove the lancing device from your finger;
8. Hold your finger pointing downward and wait for enough sample material to collect. If necessary, gently press the skin around the puncture site. Do not shake your finger or hand after pricking the skin, as this will cause the blood to scatter;
9. Use a capillary tube, pipette, or dropper to collect the sample and transfer it to the test device.

With a lancing device, collecting a capillary blood sample is easy, fast, safe, painless, and takes literally seconds!

After collecting the sample, open the front part of the device housing again and carefully remove the lancet needle. Be careful not to prick yourself! Treat the used lancet needle as potentially hazardous biological waste and be sure to place the cap back on the tip.
