What is TSH?
Thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH), also known as thyrotropin, is a hormone synthesized and secreted by the pituitary gland. Its main function is to stimulate the thyroid gland to produce thyroid hormones, which regulate the metabolism of nearly every tissue in the body. Its levels can be an indicator of hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism.
Normal range: 0.27–4.2 μIU/mL
Detection limit: 5 μIU/mL

TESTING PROCEDURE
✅ Preparation
🟢 Allow the test and buffer to reach room temperature (15–30°C).
🟢 Remove the test cassette from the packaging and use it as soon as possible.
🟢 Make sure the test and control lines are not colored before you begin.
🟢 Place the cassette on a clean, flat surface.
How to collect a sample? (Fingerstick blood sample)
1️⃣ Wash your hands thoroughly and disinfect the selected finger with the included wipe.
2️⃣ Massage the finger to improve blood flow.
3️⃣ Prick the finger with the lancet and let the first drop of blood drip away.
4️⃣ Collect the sample using the dropper until it reaches about 2 cm.
5️⃣ Drop the blood into the special opening on the test cassette.
6️⃣ Add 2 drops of buffer solution.
7️⃣ Wait 10 minutes and read the result!

Interpreting the Results:
✅ Positive: Two colored lines—one in zone C and one in zone T. This indicates elevated TSH levels and a possible problem with the thyroid or pituitary gland. It is recommended that you consult a specialist.
❌ Negative: Only one colored line in Zone C. This indicates normal TSH levels.
⚠ Invalid: No line in Zone C – repeat the test with a new device.
