Combined rapid antigen test for all the most common viruses. It simultaneously detects COVID-19, influenza A and B, respiratory viruses, and adenoviruses.

Sample collection method: nasal, via a nasal or throat swab.

It qualitatively (presence/absence) and selectively detects the presence of antigens against the COVID-19 virus, influenza A, influenza B, respiratory viruses, and adenoviruses. Results are available within 5 minutes. The test uses antibodies specific to all viruses included in the test.

Intended Use

The combined rapid test is intended for the diagnosis of infection in patients with clinical symptoms of influenza A and influenza B. The test detects both infections simultaneously. The test kit is complete and suitable for self-testing.

• COVID-19 (CoV-19) is a highly contagious virus from the coronavirus family. The most common signs of infection include fatigue, headache, mild fever, dry cough, shortness of breath, and difficulty breathing. In more severe cases, the infection can cause atypical viral pneumonia, severe acute respiratory distress syndrome, kidney failure, and other complications. Microthrombi also pose a serious risk and can lead to fatal consequences. According to data as of October 2023, COVID-19 is about three times more deadly than influenza.
• Influenza (commonly known as “the flu”) is a highly contagious, acute viral infection of the respiratory tract. It is a contagious disease that spreads easily through coughing and sneezing, via aerosol droplets containing live virus. Flu epidemics occur every year during the fall and winter months. Type A viruses are generally more prevalent than Type B viruses and are associated with most severe influenza epidemics, while Type B infections are usually milder.

All infections detected by this combination test have similar symptoms. The test allows for the determination of the exact type of infection.

TESTING PROCEDURE

The test provides a clear result visible to the naked eye within 5 minutes.

Allow the test cassette and the extraction buffer solution to reach room temperature (+15°C – +30°C) beforehand;

Sample Collection and Preparation

• Remove the swab and gently insert its soft tip as deeply as possible into the nasal cavity or throat. Be careful not to injure the mucous membrane.
• Gently rotate to collect the sample (secretion) and remove the swab.
• Open the tube containing the buffer solution and place it vertically into the opening in the back of the box.
• Place the swab into the tube and mix for 10 seconds.

• Remove the swab from the test tube, gently squeeze the sides of the tube to squeeze out the swab as you remove it.

• Close the test tube with the dropper cap

• Place the dropper cap on the test tube and return it to an upright position (with the cap facing up) in the opening of the box. The sample is ready for testing.

Start the test

• Remove the test cassette from its foil packaging immediately before starting the test and place it horizontally on a flat surface.
• Place 3 drops of the mixture from the test tube into each sample collection well (S) on the cassette.

• Interpret the result after 10 minutes (no more than 20 minutes):

Interpreting the Result

• Positive result: a distinct line appears in the control zone C and in at least one of the test zones (T, A or B), corresponding to the detection of antigens in the sample for COVID-19 (T), Influenza type A, Influenza type B, RSV (respiratory) or ADV (adenovirus) viruses.
• Negative result: Only one colored line appears* in the control zone C.
• Invalid test: No line appears in the control zone C (Control line), regardless of whether another line appears. The most likely causes are improper storage of the test cassette or an error during test administration.

Note: even very faint lines should be considered a positive result.

Treat used test cassettes and supplies as potentially infectious and dispose of them in accordance with local authority guidelines.
