Dräger X-am External Pump

Description:

The Dräger X-am pump is an external pump for the Dräger X-am 2500/2800 and X-am 5000/5600/5800 portable gas detectors —designed for measuring voids, such as in tanks and shafts. The pump turns on automatically when connected to an active X-am device. Switching from pump mode to diffusion mode is quick and easy.

The pump’s battery can be charged via the micro-USB port. A standard cell phone charger can be used for charging. The charging status is indicated by an LED on the pump. A full charge takes approximately six hours.

The device’s compact size—17.5 cm tall and weighing just 200 g—makes it easy to carry and store. The Dräger X-am pump is dust- and water-resistant according to the IP67 protection rating. It operates reliably even at temperatures as low as -40 °C. The battery is die-cast to protect against damage from drops or impacts.
