Hygiene has become an important part of our daily lives. The breathalyzers in the Alcotest series use non-invasive measurement technologies that ensure a high level of hygiene for both the operator and the person being tested, thanks to the following features:

• The non-contact testing tip is designed to direct the airflow to the side, minimizing backflow as much as possible.

• When measuring with the mouthpiece, the exhaled air flows past the device rather than through it;

• There is no physical contact with the test subject in either measurement mode;

• backflow is prevented when using a mouthpiece with a check valve. This prevents accidental inhalation and exposure to potential pathogens remaining on the breathalyzer from previous tests;

Two effective testing methods in one breathalyzer

In addition to the standard mouthpiece testing method, with the Alcotest 7000you can conduct mass screenings of employees as they enter and exit the facility without using disposable mouthpieces. This allows companies to conduct a large number of alcohol tests in a very short period of time without causing bottlenecks, saving both time and money. The funnel test provides a preliminary indication of whether there is alcohol in the subject’s breath. If the result is YES, simply press the button, insert a disposable mouthpiece, and take a new measurement. The new test will show the exact alcohol level in the subject’s breath.

The Alcotest 7000 features an extended 12-month interval between periodic inspections and calibration. Combined with contactless testing, inspections with the Alcotest 7000 are the most cost-effective (compared to other Drager Safety models).

Wide operating temperature range

With the Alcotest 7000, you can perform alcohol tests even at extremely low temperatures. It uses patented sensor-heating technology, ensuring reliable measurements in the range from -10°C to +55°C.

Modern Bluetooth Interface

The built-in Bluetooth interface technology provides a fast and energy-efficient wireless connection between the Alcotest 7000 and the new compact Bluetooth mobile printer. With it, the user can print the test report immediately. Unlike with the standard printer model, there is no longer a need to bring the breathalyzer close to the printer. Simply turn on the printer and press the Print button on the breathalyzer. The connection is reliable and fast, even at a distance of up to 15 meters.

The Alcotest 7000 can connect to a smartphone via the free Dräger add app. This further expands its functionality: view test results on your smartphone with geolocation data for the test site.

Easy Connection to a PC

You can also connect the Alcotest 7000 to a standard USB port on your computer and download the measurement results to it. A convenient feature for viewing and archiving results without installing specialized software.

Maximum wide alcohol measurement range

The Alcotest 7000 has a measurement range up to 6.00 per mille, the same as the police breathalyzer Alcotest 7510.

With the new wireless mobile printer featuring a Bluetooth interface, you can quickly and easily print out a measurement report.

The Benefits of the Bluetooth Interface

It allows printing from any compatible Dräger device located within a 15-meter radius.

Simply turn on the printer and keep it within range of the measuring device.

Convenient and lightweight

The printer, along with the battery and paper, weighs about 380 g. It can be easily clipped onto a belt and allows you to print the report without touching it.

Easy to use

• OK button—used to turn the printer on/off and to confirm pairing;

• Side button to open the paper tray cover.

Pressing both front buttons simultaneously starts the printer’s self-test.

Three LED indicators show the device’s current status, including error messages, battery level, and Bluetooth connection status.
