The 10-Drug Pen MultiDrug 10 Pen is a combined field test for drugs in a saliva sample. It detects the presence of the following narcotic substances:

1. OPI Opiates – 40 ng/mL, detection time up to 48 hours after use;
2. COC Cocaine –20 ng/mL, detection time up to 24 hours after use;
3. AMP Amphetamines – 50 ng/mL, detection time up to 72 hours after use;
4. PCP Phencyclidine – 10 ng/mL, detection time up to 20 hours after use;
5. MET Methamphetamines – 50 ng/mL, detection time up to 72 hours after use;
6. OXY Oxycodone – 50 ng/mL, detection time up to 15 hours after use;
7. BZO Benzodiazepines benzodiazepines – 50 ng/mL, detection time up to 36 hours after use;
8. THC Cannabis – 50 ng/mL, detection time up to 4 hours after use;
9. MTD Methadone – 50 ng/mL, detection time up to 60 hours after use;
10. MDMA (Ecstasy) – 50 ng/mL, detection time up to 72 hours after use;

The detection time windows listed are averages. There may be significant individual variations depending on factors such as metabolism, body weight, consumption with food, alcohol, or other substances, the type and amount of fluids consumed, etc.

Advantages of Field Drug Tests Using Saliva Samples

• The concentration of drugs in saliva closely corresponds to their concentration in the blood. Therefore, the presence of a drug in saliva is an indication of recent drug use;
• A less intrusive sampling method. Collecting a saliva sample minimally intrudes on the test subject’s personal space;
• Greater security during sample collection. The test is administered directly by the tester and cannot be tampered with by the person being tested, unlike urine collection. Supervision during urine collection is very intrusive and invades personal space, and without supervision, test subjects can easily tamper with the urine sample by diluting it with water.
